Overview
This level 1 training begins with the preparation of an HP ProLiant server: understanding the hardware, RAID configuration and use of the iLO interface. Participants then install Windows Server and carry out the necessary network configuration.
The course includes creating an Active Directory domain, organizational units, users and groups, as well as joining workstations to the domain. DNS testing and simple name resolution or domain join issues are covered.
The hands-on practice includes a file server with NTFS permissions managed by groups, a print server and a backup and restore strategy. Standard monitoring and troubleshooting operations complete the commissioning of the SMB environment.
